Waste fluorescent lamps containing mercury, which belonging to the national hazardous waste list specifically as HW29 i.e. the mercury containing waste. It would damage the environment and endanger human health if they could not be treated appropriately. Therefore, it is necessary to take reasonable method to deal with it. Comprehensive comparison of various methods for the treatment of waste fluorescent lamp is found, the resources, harmless recovery of metal mercury is the best way to deal with. Therefore, China needs to learn from foreign management experience, the introduction of limited regulatory measures, but also need to continuously improve the processing technology and large-scale construction.
