SGC actively participated in international and domestic technical exchanges and cooperation, its’ general manager Mr. Wei Zhengkang was invited to be one of the keynote speakers in the continuous multi sessions "China's urban solid waste management and treatment technology and International Symposium" and the 2009 Shanghai World Expo Theme Forum - "environment makes the World Expo more wonderful" meeting, introduced to Chinese and foreign scholars, entrepreneurs, government officials about SGC's research work and technological innovation, which had been widely concerned. Meanwhile, SGC has a good relationship and maintain friendly exchanges and technical cooperation with Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Japan, the United States, and UK. CCTV, Shanghai TV, Shanghai Oriental TV, Shanghai People's broadcasting, people's daily, Liberation Daily, Wen Hui News and other types of media repeatedly to SGC and general manager Wei Zhengkang entrepreneurial experience as the special interview and documentary broadcast. SGC actively participated in some public welfare social activities to fulfill its’ social responsibility.

In addition, SGC participate in some public welfare activities such as the annual elderly needy donations. Started from 2005, SGC exclusive sponsored ‘SGC Cup’ Shanghai City Appearance and Environmental Sanitation Technology Thesis Contest and National 'SGC Cup’ China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association Annual Conference Paper Competition, had attracted thousand papers preferred edition book, involving the focus and difficult issues of the environmental and sanitation industry.

Additionally, since 2011, SGC sponsored exclusively ‘SGC Cup’ City Sanitation Theme Photography Competition which had been strongly supported by the city sanitation system. However, for the status quo of China's sanitation operation personnel's cultural level was quiet low, SGC specialized in compiling the training materials for refuse transfer station operators, and provided the free training course for SGC refuse transfer stations all over the domestic that obtained the good effect and reputation.
