School-Enterprise Cooperation

2007

SGC and Environmental Engineering College, Shanghai Second Polytechnic University signed University-enterprise cooperation intent letter, while SGC donated thousands of dollars each year to set up ‘SGC Scholarship’ as to support and foster environmental protection students.

2008

Mr. Wei Zhengkang, the general manager of SGC, was employed as a guest professor of 
environmental engineering College (EEC), Shanghai Second Polytechnic University (SSPU).

SGC started to carry out research cooperation with EEC, SSPU which about jointly apply for the National ‘863’ plan project (waste electronic product processing and resource recycling technology), and established formally a joint R & D and design center in SGC.

2009

SGC and Environmental Engineering College (SSPU) established "internship training base", "Undergraduate job training base", through teaching inspection, graduation internship and other ways to cultivate undergraduates. In addition, SGC set up a "youth college teachers training base", as to improve the teaching ability and professional ability for young teachers.

2010

The Environmental Engineering College (SSPU) established the solid waste resources and Joint Laboratory with SGC.

SGC and the Shanghai Cooperative Center for WEEE Recycling (SSPU) started to cooperative research and development in the project of waste toner cartridge recycling production line.

SGC carried out research cooperation with Electronic College (SSPU), jointly research and development of urban solid waste intelligent control system.

SGC and the Environmental Engineering College of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University launched a cooperative model for training Master students, and established the graduate practice base (graduate student studio).

SGC and SSPU expanded comprehensive cooperation with the six major colleges to achieve cooperation intentions, and signed a cooperation agreement, found the SSPU (green) Practice Education Base. Mr. Wei Zhengkang, President Yu Tao, vice president Wang Gang, Zou Feilong and the dean of the school raised the SGC-SSPU friendship tree together, which implies the cooperation would be growing strongly and stable.
